02/11/2002 Archived Entry: "AlterSlash"

I've added AlterSlash to my daily reading. It's a digest that takes the Slashdot stories and the 5 top-rated comments, and puts them on one page in a readable format. Says creator Jon Hedley, "As a bonus, it displays the comment noise level, so you can see just how helpful it is." (Via Boing Boing a few weeks ago.)

Thanks for the rec! The vast majority of my weblog reading is through Dan Sanderson's Blogtracker, which uses Weblogs.com's XML feed and adds filtering. I do read some sites that don't ping weblogs.com, though.

Just FYI: Sounds like you have routinely visit certain web sites. You could try dailyroutine.com to streamline your "web routine." I've got SlashDot in mine, and AlterSlash also sounds like a great site to add. I've also got dilbert.com, weather.com, abcnews.com, etc... in my daily routine.
