Alex Lo has a picture of the meetup group (I like how it came out, though I am in the back). Alison wrote a good description: "I find it funny that the two people who proclaim themselves introverts were the two people talking the most... yes, this includes yours truly." Ha! Well, shy and introverted aren't the same thing, exactly. I am shy, except when I feel like I'm on familiar territory, and most of Washington state is my familiar territory these days. Says Cameron: "at least it got me out of the house in such a way that didn't bring me to a frat house." TYD of Then You Discover, like Geegaw (not at the gathering), prefers to be anonymous and was covering her face while being photographed. Zoltan of fuggit.org, not talking about the meetup: "The dude that stocks our fridge at work left a picture of himself on the door. [...] Nice note, huh? Well, maybe it would be if the guy's picture didn't look like he was a homicidal maniac who just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, who's dog had just been run over, who would very happily slit the throat of anyone that made eye contact with him."
