Beethoven's birthday is today! (I always remembered this day growing up, because it was my godfather Harry Merican's birthday also.) Lyrics to the song from You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

Ha! I see this song didn't exist until the show was revived in 1999 -- no wonder there's a reference to "superstores". A short biography from Grove's. The Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies has a lock of his hair, available for viewing on request! (Brilliant -- great name!) Beethoven.com is a classical net station, but it doesn't seem that they are playing an all-Beethoven program today. KING-FM has lots of Ludwig today, so tune in!
