Says Chuq to the folks who use his Usenet Primer as fodder for online arguments: "I personally stopped paying attention to the 4 line limit [for email signatures] over a decade ago, because I felt it was no longer relevant. I still think people need to be thoughtful about signatures -- but the four line limit was arbitrary and based on an earlier day with much smaller average message size and very slow phone links. so please, please -- stop using the name of chuqui to start fights about signature sizes. I stopped suggesting that back when Reagan was President, okay? Many of you fighting over this weren't BORN when I stopped limiting my own signatures to that."
