I like the notion of Steak and BJ Day, but there aren't many web pages that talk about it that I can find. This one, with the "template" title element, is more tasteful than the one these radio personalities posted. There seems to be some confusion about what day this is to take place: March 26? March 14? (I like this gift basket notion.) March 20? All these days, or any day, would probably be okay with most guys who are non-veg. I guess you could substitute the appropriate favorite meal for those who don't care for steak.

I was also contacted by the guys who supposedly claim to OWN Steak and BJ day! They are emailing everyone trying to get people to switch the date to the 14th and give them credit for it at the same time! Ive known about this great holliday for the past 2 years and it has always been on the 20th in the past. But more and more sites are switching their date to the 14th because of emails they get from the Storm and Birdsey guys. I think they just want traffic and they're getting it because of so many suckers out there. Storm and Birdsey told me that if I changed the date from the 20th to the 14th and gave them credit for it they would link my site and send me traffic. No doubt this is what they are telling all the webmasters out there. Make no mistake. It is on the 20th. But if you can get it on the 14th too, go for it!

I heard that a group called the Sweet Potato Queens claim some credit as to the invention of Steak & BJ Day, but they say it is on March 29. I LOVE the Steak & BJ basket at derangements.com! My b.f. Davey says that any and all days that I would like to celebrate SBJ with him are fine with him--as long as I pick at least one day!

My why cant we celebrate on March 14th, 20th and 26th? Or maybe make it the second thursday of each month. Or the first tuesday of each week...

I think the same proportion of men would be in favor of this as women are in favor of trad valentine's day. that is, not all of them.
maybe the whole thing is unpleasant stereotyping? Tim Allen grunting vs Martha stewart high expectations and frilliness?

I have seen discussion of Steak and BJ Day on other message boards. The msg boards tend to be read by mainly men, so the response is overwhelmingly positive.
However, any man not interested in steak should promptly be reported to Reichskommissar Ashcroft immediately.
