02/26/2003 Archived Entry: "Don Box Now Updating"

I met Don Box at the eastside tech-y Sam Ruby-instigated weblog meetup last month. I'd had him on my daily crawl list previous to that, I think from reading other MS webloggers. (I was a contractor at Microsoft for six years during the nineties and I still am interested in goings-on over there.) I teased him for not updating his "spoutlet" (a weird word, dotnet related?) and he described the rigamarole he was forced to go through in order to get the thing updated -- a strong disincentive to posting. But now he's got a different way of updating, to a slightly different URL! So I'll have to change "Don Box's Rarely Updated Spoutlet" to "Don Box's Often-Updated Experimental SpoutletEX!"
