Today my nephew J--- and I are going to see some great lindy hop, and I'll do some dancing myself. It's the 5th Annual Pacific Northwest Lindy Hop Championships! (Oo, what a bad URL -- next year I'll donate so organizer Guy Caridi can get a real domain name.) It's not expensive to attend, just ten bucks a person to watch the competitions and dance in between rounds at the Century Ballroom on Capitol Hill. I'm not a huge fan of lindy hop comps (rules are antithetical to the free spirit of the dance), but it should be fun to watch.l
