You really need to examine Microsoft's latest effort at Data Normalization -- software book authors will be normalized and made more uniform, to reduce reader confusion! Don Box has the scoop. Look at this photo of Chris Sells (his weblog) and Jeffrey Richter ("about page" for him) standing next to their proposed goal configurations. Don asserts that Jeff is standing on a box, but will they actually use a Procrustean model to shorten Chris? Ouch!
