Do you have any old manuscripts around that you can't read? English Handwriting 1500-1700 can teach you how to decipher them! It's a series of online lessons where you look at a document image and type what you see into a rich-edit text box (so the actual lessons only work in IE right now -- there's an appeal for help in adapting to other browsers on the site). Lessons are rated for difficulty, and there's great background info included. Is a particular letter giving you difficulty? Pop up a page of examples and look at the variety in just one alphabet!
