Adam demonstrates how not to impress a woman: "It's so embarrassing when I've got all that geekiness without the more-useful geek-SMARTS to go along with it!" He titled this with parens around the "not" but I don't think it's an optional word here. On the other hand, she went to some lengths to make sure he had her contact info, so I think she must have liked him.
