I'm glad to be in Seattle for my birthday and I'm glad Jack is here too; last year I was visiting him in Grand Rapids, MI. My gift is DDR on a PS2 -- I'm going to follow that trend of using Dance Dance Revolution as exercise. We looked several places yesterday and Fry's has the best deal on a bundle for our purposes, so I think we'll pick that up today. We did buy DDRMax2, and a medium-quality dance pad (when I wear that one out, we'll get a fancy metal pad). Plus, tonight, dinner and a movie!

I hate to add another off-topic comment, but I think I have an idea why it's not showing up... you are listing http://slumberland.org/wp/index.php in your pinglist, but I think that the ping sent from my blog might be for http://slumberland.org without the other stuff. This is probably a change that was made when I upgraded WordPress last week. Do you think that is the problem?

The upgrade also broke one of my RSS URLs, but that's not an issue here, I guess.

Nope, I've checked, my pings are showing up on Weblogs (for the most part), so something else is the problem. :(

Litlnemo, if you update and ping while Weblogs.com is taking one of its daily naps, they won't pick up the data. Thanks for trying, anyway!

Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoy the DDR. Danny and I have had a good time with our fancy dance pad, though I don't think we've used it enough to get much in the way of serious exercise.

Happy Birthday Anita. Hope you have a great day. Here in England it's almost 5.30pm and you still have half a day of birthday left. Wonder if you know that Kofi Annan will be speaking at Harvard June 10. It'll be interesting to read Cambridge blogs to see what it's like when a Nobel prize winning General Secretry of the United Nations comes in to an American town. Jim Moore and several others are planning a peace rally for the Sudan on the day. Hope there's a good turn out. I'll be there in spirit.
