07/29/2004 Entry: "Life at Westwood Village Condos"
If you are unhappy with your living situation, be sure to document your problems! Maybe you could do like this woman did (a regular poster in alt.recovery.clutter) and record the sounds of the children screaming in the courtyard all day and night. Don't miss the current sound file of the week! "This situation is just not right. What is the situation? Westwood Village Condos is a mess. Here's today's shortlist: Lights: The lights in the complex should be lit most of the time. The truth is, many of the lights on my side of the complex are either burnt out or broken (the kids like to break the lights) more than 90% of the time. [...] Noise: Kid noise; car stereo noise (24/7); noise noise noise. I want to listen to what I choose to listen to, when I choose to listen to it. I do not want to hear a neighbor's thumping and/or blasting stereo. I don't want to hear screaming kids. I don't want to hear thumping basketballs for hours at a time. [...] Parking: I want to use my parking space whenever I choose to use it. I don't want to have to track down the person parked in my space. I don't want to have to back into my parking space because the neighbors park more in my spot than theirs. I can't use my parking spot if the neighbors park in front of their garages, because I can't back out of my parking spot-- there just isn't enough room to make that turn."
