12/29/2004 Entry: "January East Side Weblog Meetup"

Get the new year off to a good start, at the East Side Weblog Meetup!

When: Tuesday, January 4, 7 pm
Where: Crossroads Mall Food Court, 15600 NE 8TH Street, Bellevue, WA. (map) We'll meet in front of the Compleat Cook store, north of the stage area.

You don't have to be a meetup.com member to attend, but if you join (it's free) I'll be able to keep you posted about any last-minute changes (these are rare). RSVPing encourages other folks to come along too!

As you know Bob, I mean Pops, the open mike nights are on *Wednesdays*, which is why we meet on Tuesdays in the ordinary course of things (I changed nights in November because of the election).

Can't make it - but I have the memories of the haunting and melodic sounds of the open mic night that graced the November East Side gathering forever etched in my memory.

I was wrong.Ordinary people can butcher Rod Stewart songs worse than Rod Stewart can.

Thanks! I was going to ask if you were coming to the meetup, but I see from your blog that you are in the Southern hemisphere. Maybe there's a meetup near you? if not, start one!
