09/06/2006 Archived Entry: "Cavett on TCM"

I'm so pleased that Turner Classic Movies is rerunning some classic (doh!) interviews that Dick Cavett did with Hollywood stars during the sixties and seventies on the different talk shows he hosted, along with at least one new one with Mel Brooks. If you don't get TCM, they'll be available on DVD also. The shows will be running Thursday evenings in September and October.

One of my favorite books is Cavett's autobiography called Cavett -- it made me weep with laughter even after many rereadings. I must get another copy! I think my old one just fell apart.
