A Bridge to the Moon

He was always late on principle, his principle being that punctuality is the thief of time.

Oops! I woke up and looked at the clock. It was two hours past the time I usually get up! So I get up and race to work. First an intersection near my house was blocked off, so I turned around and went another way. When I approached my normal route by another way, that street was blocked by two garbage trucks that seemed stuck. I finally got on the 520 bridge, but not at my usual exit, where it's easy to merge, but at an earlier one that isn't as well designed.

Today I tried to get caught up on bugs. The bugs that are assigned to me aren't problems in our program. They are external and internal websites that either have problems in their script or or in their HTML that cause them not to work well with us. It's my current task to contact the sites and convince them to change. Internal sites usually don't have any problem with this, but external sites can prove balky.

Then off to the festival!

  • Mondo
A French story about a homeless boy wandering around Nice. Too much like The Little Prince for my tastes. Beautiful photography, but too romanticized, too idealized. Apparently this little boy and one old man are the only homeless people in Nice!
  • Then off to Beyond the Edge Cafe for the Cacophony meeting. We planned what we will be doing next month, and I ate dinner. Our participation in the Solstice Day Parade should be great! A festival buddy told me earlier that he and his girlfriend might join up with us. Jayson didn't show, but we had several new faces! They told me they heard about Cacophony from the web site. Yay! Christina had a copy of a cool zine named "Bust". I think they are on the web, but the printed copy seemed to have more in it.
