An Admirable Evasion

I walked to the Cacophony planning meeting tonight. A new member has offered to serve us cookies and punch before Trolloween, since she lives a block and a half from the Troll. Brave soul! Through our random chatter I had one truly great idea for an event: Radio Controlled Art Cars! I think this would be fun to do, and would take the mickey out of the growing art car show movement. We'll probably do this in January, to pick up the cheap RC cars at Radio Shack after Christmas.
They had some cool art on the walls of the cafe, soft sculpture gargoyles contoured with spraypaint.

The Journaler Formerly Known as Carl has returned to the web, under the cognomen The Admirable Burr. I'm glad he didn't choose TJFKAC as a pseud! He has included his former journal in the site, so we haven't lost all the nice things he said about me there. Plus he links to me in a few other places, in some very good company.
I wonder how this journal would be different if I had done it completely anonymously, like Cognito does? That would free me to be totally frank about people I have crushes on, strange desires I might have, or any acts of petty spitefulness. But I think I'd soon forget and start revealing clues that could identify me. Better to just reveal as much as I feel comfortable with. I know that's why some journalers start notify lists, to give the straight dope to a few selected individuals.
Too bad that the World Series is on the TV network that carries some of my favorite shows. I hope it will be over soon. Even when I am online, I often listen to the TV sound on a radio. Many comedies are greatly improved when heard as radio shows!
