Still Coughing

We are so fond of one another, because our ailments are the same.

Hoo boy, what a rotten day! All the comparisons that come to my mind are culinary ones! I'm steeping myself in cool baths periodically, like a tea bag! I'm even basting myself with a spray bottle full of lavender-scented water. In between times, I'm dozing on my bed of pain.

I worked only a half day, then came back home again. It was air-conditioned at the office, but there isn't a good place for me to lie down, and my cold is still pretty bad.

I had hopes of going to the dance jam being held at Golden Gardens park, which is a beach out on the sound, but when it got close to the time I didn't feel well enough. Tomorrow evening I'm running a dance workshop (the second in a series of Cacophony events I am sponsoring) so I'll have to be there; so it was better to save my strength for that. But I was still torn and disappointed.

I took advantage of having the time to work on next month's journal graphics. I like what I'm coming up with! The color scheme: cool!
