This is a very bad time for me to have a cold, but I do, darn it! I'm still in crunch mode at work, though I didn't stay late today. I'll need to do so tomorrow, and over the weekend as well. All this work will get done, but I'm not looking forward to it. The cold affects my IQ. I feel myself getting stupider and stupider, as in "Flowers for Algernon." Good thing it's just temporary! Our group program manager and another PM came and sat at my table at lunch today. The sun was shining so strongly through the skylight, that he put his sunglasses on, which gave an odd, "undercover" tone to everything he said. He's got rather a deadpan delivery anyway, but he could have been one of the "men in black" today. I came home and soaked myself in a hot bath, with sage, rosemary, and geranium oils. I'm sure I'm very aromatic now, but I can hardly smell me! Then I took a nap. Again, the phenomenon of waking up at seven thirty, and having to figure out whether it's AM or PM. TV (got to get some of my money's worth out of the cable!), then reading, writing. Now off to bed!
