People who don't know how to keep themselves healthy ought to have the decency to get themselves buried, and not waste time about it.

One year ago: The Thin Red Line

I invited Jan to join Jet City Journals today. (That's a lot of Js!) Jan writes "My Live in 12-Point Font." Any journaller in the Seattle area is welcome to join the mailing list; Bill of "Man out of Time" is running this.

So far we are low-traffic, but it could build.

I sent the link for last Monday's episode to the Swing-Seattle-chat mailing list today -- heavens, I'm a week behind on this journal, which isn't my usual pattern! -- but I ended up not going dancing tonight. I was feeling too tired. I'm so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired! But I keep repeating that I am feeling a bit better each day. "Day by day, in every way, I'm getting better and better," wrote Emile Coué in 1923. His self-improvement books were huge best-sellers back then.

I was surprised to find that Stockcharts.com is a category on epinions now. That's one review that I can't write, since there's no way I can be objective at all. So I tried to think of anyone I know who writes on Epinions, and would be interested in the topic. When I saw some investing and financial links on Richard Gillman's Absolute Piffle weblog, I figured I'd found a candidate. He agreed to take a look, though I'd warned him that we concentrate on technical analysis which isn't his specialty. He had a review the next day! I wish people were always so cooperative about fulfilling my wishes and following my directions.

I had dinner tonight at my sister M----'s house. My two nephews were very interested in hearing stories of when they were little, by which they meant when they were toddlers or preschoolers -- they are 6 and 8 now. The slightest incident or memory was cause for gales of laughter.
