Pointing
Tuesday, January 11, 2000 Wow! Two years ago was my first blind date with Jason. We went out for less than two months, but he was the first of the men I met through my personal ad that I dated more than once. (And I don't want to say how long it had been before that that I'd been out with anyone!) It doesn't seem that long ago.
Jack has asked me if I could pick up his younger daughter H--- at the train station in Seattle this Friday, and bring her up to Bellingham with me. I said that wouldn't be a problem. She's thirteen, but he doesn't want her to have to change trains (or get on a bus, which I think is how she'd have to continue the trip), and he naturally would like to see her. He also recommended a link to a hot sauce website for Anita's LOL. I said I'd use it, but maybe I didn't show t the amount of enthusiasm he thought I should have. I did appreciate his suggestion, none the less. The other day Jack linked to my work site in a Slashdot post. Today he linked to a journal entry of mine, about when we were cutting open a can of stout to look at the nitrogen widget inside. Coincidence: I was eating a bar of the same kind of chocolate described in the entry, when I read the entry! And the odds really aren't in favor of that, because I don't eat that Lindor chocolate that often, even though I like it a lot. I wonder how many hits I'll get from that?
This was really my day for email and pointers. I wrote to Geegaw about being an INFJ, I pointed Mr. Barrett to Wally's list of personality tests because he was talking about such tests, and recommended that weblogger Julia Henry join the Seattle Webgrrls. The webgrrls have been getting some good press, lately!
