Cabeem!

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is.

Oh, I stayed up way too late last night! I think I managed to overcaffeinate myself yesterday, by having extra diet Cokes in the afternoon, and at dinner. So after I got my journal caught up, I did some extra web reading. I didn't get to bed until almost two in the morning.

Things were quiet at work, except for a visit from some door-to-door marketing types from a copier company, with an invitation to an open house. Apparently they are now offering a service where you connect to a docutech-type printer over the net, and print to it directly. I seem to remember doing something similar with the Cacophony newsletter when Jayson was working at a high-tech copier place, although back then I had to dial in. Oh, now I see -- they were selling the machines themselves, whichi isn't so impressive. My first idea is a good one. Can you do that via kinko's? But we really need a "no solicitors" sign for that office door. Not a week goes by that we don't have some random person come in and try to sell something.

I did some laundry during the evening, but I have a lot more left to do. Some years I've taken it all to a laundramat with drop-off service. It costs a bit, but the convenience is worth it. I wanted to get some clean clothes to take up to Jack's place. He has another test scheduled tomorrow, and depending on how things go, I'll probably go up there after work.

I have a new game addiction. Dan Sanderson, a weblog buddy, linked to Cabeem, which is a java-based version of the HMaki tile game that Jack found so engrossing on the Palm. (Dan got it from Zannah.) I knew that he was going to the opening night gala of the film festival but only had one ticket, so I offered him mine. (But not because of the game; it was just a coincidence.) His friend and fellow weblogger Lisa (of Bird on a Wire) came by and picked it up and said hi. I haven't seen her since the Seattle weblog gather!

I tuned into the BlogIRC chat, but had to keep getting up to do laundry and pack, so it was difficult to participate much. No dancing -- I was too tired!
