Vacillating

The mind can make
Substance, and people
   planets of its own
With beings brighter
   than have been, and give
A breath to forms which
   can outlive all flesh.
-- Lord Byron

I was up early this morning, and out at the bus stop a few minutes after six. Gotta get back to work, after a long weekend! But my period and back started making me feel bad, so I decided to stay home.

I came in and went through my work email via the web interface we have, and after an hour and a half felt better! (and I could see there was much to do at work) so I changed my mind and left. I got to work around nine fifteen.

I was drowzy when I got home, so I intended to lie down for a few minutes. (Shades of Willa -- that's very characteristic of her.) Then I really did drop off to sleep for an hour and a half.

I'm finding that riding the bus gives me a lot of time for thinking, pondering, and fantasizing. I usually don't try to read because I'm very prone to motion sickness. I need to dig up my walkman radio and check the batteries, I think.
