A little while ago I started my first mailing list! Vanguard-disc is a discussion list for the folks that go to Vanguard, the monthly science fiction fan social gathering here in Seattle. I'm pleased those who have subscribed so far! It's low-traffic, and I'm ok with that. I'm encouraging those I emailed to forward the info to those they think might be interested, and Jane will add the info to the monthly announce email she sends out.

I hope I can do as good a job in moderating or list-owning as Victor does on the trufen list.

Speaking of the trufen list, I instigated some discussion of Vikingcon there, by responding to something Mark Manning said. I wonder if we'll entice anyone to come?

I gave up on the idea of finding another bus route. The one I usually take will be ok, even with the bridge problem.

The background here (the orange and yellow bits) was called "sunspot.jpg," which I think is apt! The black pattern and the bird graphic came from my big archive-o-clip art that I got from Costco a while back. I succumbed and made the table fairly wide, since I wanted the balance of the borders pointing each way.
