By joining the list, I got the info for the santa rampage coming up in Vancouver, including the hotel that Jack and I should stay at. But who knows if we'll go? It all depends on what happens with his daughter A----.

We had some discussion while Chip was gone, about any possible celebration for his birthday. Kellie and I laughed about the gag gift another worker had put together (but I hadn't recalled that it was at my suggestion!) and how unfunny Chip had found it. We decided on some ice cream and cake. To make it more festive, I'll buy some of that "Festivus" flavor from Ben and Jerry. This ginger-cinnamon ice cream is tied into the fake "holiday for the rest of us" that featured on Seinfeld during their last season. We thought of it because Chip's friend Joey had forwarded a link to the Ben and Jerry website, and recommended we watch the flash animation. Funny!

I enjoyed watching Frasier tonight. It's held up remarkably well for being on the air so long. Is the actress who plays Daphne pregnant? they seem to using the classic strategies for covering her up: baggy clothes, aprons, seated behind a table. (Good heavens, Frasier Fan Fiction!)

A year ago I took a box of books over to my brother's place. That was hard for me to do! I've still never had him over here, or gone upstairs to his apartment (he lives in subsidized housing in a high rise, a few blocks from my place).
