Patience

Something is ironic in the world and it has to do with the fact that what you intend never comes out like you intend it.

Gad! This cold certainly makes it difficult to wake up! I brought two sausage-on-english muffin sandwiches to work, frozen in my pockets. I'm keeping the meds to a minimum, so my head is mostly clear.

I'm answering feedback for our website these days, but Chip can't keep from piping in on a few messages that really irk him. (He does the feedback over the weekend, anyway.) I still have patience, even with stupid questions from people who lie and say they've read the FAQ, when they obviously haven't since the answer to their question is the top item! I'm just such a patient person.

Home, then to the bank -- I made a big deposit! Another instance of my besetting sin of procrastination. There were paychecks that I hadn't kept up with, and a holiday bonus. I was right there, so I cruised through the grocery store. I remembered one time when I had a bad cold and craved tostitoes and salsa, so I bought that.

What weird dreams I have, when lying down after work. I can't wait until they get that dream recorder perfected. I wanted to get caught up on this journal, so I dragged myself up out of the dream depths and did some writing.
