One year ago: Reading Party
Two years ago: Nurturing
Three years ago: Spinning
This morning I went to two costuming panels: Anime Costuming, and Headpieces and Hair Do's. I don't know why I go to so much costuming programming when I don't do costumes, but I think it's the craft aspect. I like looking at the pictures and listening to folks tell stories about what they've done. Maybe this will come in handy if Jack's daughter H---- pursues this hobby, but sometimes I wonder if she's really into it!
Starting after noon, we got things fixed up and replaced in the suite, and loaded up Jack's truck. The money (everyone ponying up for their share of a room) is always complex, but it all got paid and straightend out, I think.
While Jack was headed down to Olympia to drop off H---, then back up to Bellingham, I just went home. I was glad to be there! Jack thought he might stop by on the way north, but didn't in the end. The convention was fun, but it's almost too much -- too many people, too much walking from one end of the hotel to the other. I like small cons better!
