My former coworker Kellie wrote me -- she's back at work after taking time to have her baby! I know she must have been missed while on leave. I'm imagining just Chip and Pete in the office, with our highschool intern there sometimes. I got her caught up on what's been happening to me.

My sister M---- inquired about a duplex unit that's near her house, but Jack thinks it would be too much money. But things are expensive in Seattle, no matter where you live. There might be some benefits to having a place near my sister; Jack's daughter H--- could babysit my nephews! I'd still want to keep my place, but we might mostly use it for office space.

In my ideal world, we'd get the apartment below mine and connect the two of them. Lots of space, then, and everone in the building would be glad to get rid of my downstairs neighbor.

I sent email to Jack, to see if he would read it. He hasn't logged on to get email for several days, which is certainly a disturbing sign.
