For dinner tonight: marinated chicken -- "Carribean," from a packet of "Thirty Minute" Marinade. I had the chicken marinating all day, though, while it thawed. I'd rather do that, if I remember, than thaw it in the microwave oven. H--- said "thank you" for the dinner, which was good to hear.

After dinner I watched tv -- and dozed off! I don't think I'm short on sleep, but my recliner is so comfy, and that down throw is warm. We are getting into a pattern where Jack stays up a bit later than me, and I get up earlier. I don't mind this, as long as it doesn't get too extreme!

After actually getting into bed, I began reading an Angela Thirkell novel -- "Oh, These Men, These Men!" So far I don't like it as well as the Barsetshire novels, but the supposedly autobiographical nature lends interest.
